guy: this movie is good. what a pleasant movie-going experience
movie character 1: oh shoot, it's starting to rain
movie character 2: hmmm, yup
*guy continues enjoying movie*
movie character 1: i'm glad we saw this waterfall though
movie character 2: yeah
*waterfall is shown. waterfall sounds are being made*
*guy reaches into popcorn*
*guy starts to eat popcorn*
guy (suddenly stopped eating popcorn): do i... have to pee?
movie character 1: i think i have to pee now
movie character 2: yup, same here
guy: why would they ever say that in a movie?! come on!
movie character 1 (looking into the camera): do YOU have to pee?
*guy starts sweating*
*everyone starts running out of the theater*
guy (jumping on someones head): get out of my way!
other person: excuse me!
3rd patron: AH!
I’ve had two movie pee experiences that I will never forget, for some reason. Time number 1 was watching The Matrix: Reloaded. It was right about in the middle of the movie and I really had to go. I waited until what I thought was the perfect time to go (the big ravey, dance scene) and apparently, I timed it perfectly! I got back and missed nothing! We’ll I guess I missed watching the joy of being human, or something like that.
Time two: Incecption. They get down into the first layer and it’s raining and JGL’s character says something about maybe the dreamer should have peed before they went into the dream. From that moment on, I never stopped thinking about peeing, but held it through the remainder of the movie. That’s the scene that pretty much inspired me to make this comic.
