    First, perhaps?
…I ate lasagna last night. Are you a spy? 0070, James Boyd?

  • I would definitely get something from the lasagna truck! 😛 mmm.

  • Nate

A spongebob-shaped lasagna piece would be too hard to accomplish. Lasagna is served as a square already. I wanna see a Patrick the starfish lasagna!

    • Nate

Darn, meant to say "wouldn't be too hard to accomplish"*

    • John

      Good find! 😀

I can confirm what happens in the second panel to be absolutely true. At the prospect of frozen cream products, children’s bones tend to lose any semblance of rigidity and their limbs begin to flail about like unattended, high-pressure hoses. There is a distinct zone of impact that you’ll want to avoid.

  • John

I love your comics, so please don't think i'm being critical here Justin because I know how much effort you put into IB – but in the first panel perhaps you could have made the roof of the truck not as wide as the box, because I thought that was a divider. If it was smaller and you could see the truck edges it would have been a tiny bit clearer, for me at least :3

    • I gotcha man! It was a tricky angle to try and pull off. I was going for that right-in-front-of-the-windshield camera angle.

    • I just adjusted the first panel =) You might have to refresh a couple times to get the new version but yeah, I did that thing.

      Thanks for the heads up!

      • John

Wow, haha – nice one Justin! 😀

  • it's ironic

the joke is that kids these days don't where watches.

you're right….we check our phones instead.

  • IT's funny though, of all the characters.. Spongebob is the easiest to make out of lasagna

  • ALWS

LAS! AG! NA! Hm, I think las-ag-na might be pronounced differently than lasagna… Loss og nah, perhaps.
Here's a palindrome about a lasagna cat, (derived from a palindrome about lasagna and one about a cat) made with Garfield in mind:
Was it a cat I saw tin a can; go hang a salami; say, "As I'm a las-ag-na hog-na: can it!"– was it a cat I saw?

I would most likely be more excited to see a lasagna truck than an ice cream truck. I know this will open me up to scorn and hatred from the citizens of Internetland, but i figured that i would come clean.
I am officially sorry that i prefer lasagna to ice cream.

HAHA I like the fact that the guy says "It'll be ready in a couple hours" and the kid stares at the watch thats not on his wrist

  • craftsandhistory

Speaking of that i want a spongebob ice cream now

  • Humphrey

How come the eyes of the drawn kids are so large?

  • whkazoo

ah lasagna truck i wish this was real

  • wow..amazing…

  • Green bot Studios

I like how the kid is like super excited and stuff and then the guy in the truck tells the kid that the truck is for lasagna and the kid is like “oh ok” 😛
